It was created for a very different time and purpose: the 18th and 19th century, when the goal was to produce factory workers and soldiers rather than creative thinkers.

However, the school system has not progressed as the world and the business have transformed.
Existing institutions continue to focus on training students for jobs that do not exist anymore.
Children in our new world must be self-learners, innovative, and resourceful. Problem solvers who are able to adjust and adapt to changing circumstances.
